1,416 Bansos Packages Distributed to Residents in South Thousand Islands

Jakarta Government distributed 1,416 social assistance (Bansos) packages to residents in Tidung Island and Pari Island Urban Villages, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands.

We will coordinate with local RT/RWs to distribute bansos packages directly to the residents houses to avoid crowd

It was the seventh phase of bansos packages distributed by Jakarta Government. Each packages consist of rice, biscuits, sardines, cooking oil, soy sauce, wheat flour, vermicelli, and bar soap.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah ensured the distribution was carried out by following health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"We will coordinate with local RT/RWs to distribute bansos packages directly to the residents houses to avoid crowd," he informed, Wednesday (9/30).

On the other hand, Pari Island Urban Village Head, Mahtum conveyed, his side allocated 963 bansos packaged for his residents. In detail, 228 packages for RW 01, 135 packages for RW 02, 241 packages for RW 03, and 359 packages for RW 04.

"Hopefully this assistance can ease their burden in the middle of pandemic situation," he said.
