Thousand Islands Provides 13 Controlled Isolation Locations

This controlled isolation location is needed to anticipate additional cases of COVID-19 and minimize transmission in the family cluster

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency Head Herwin Meifendi says his party has provided 13 locations of controlled isolation for handling COVID-19 patients. They will be in six urban villages with varying capacities.

Here are 13 locations of controlled isolations spread over six urban villages:

1. Panggang Islands Urban Village

- SDN 03 (10 beds)

- Karang Taruna Building (10 beds)

- SMAN 69 Pulau Pramuka (10 beds)

2. Harapan Island Urban Village

- PKBM Building (20 beds)

- SMPN 260 (10 beds)

3. Kelapa Island Urban Village

- SDN 01 (10 beds)

4. Tidung Island

- Ananda Homestay (8 beds)

- Jayanti Homestay (8 beds)

- SMKN 61 (46 beds)

5. Pari Island Urban Village

- SDN 01 Pulau Pari (3 beds)

- SMPN 288 Pulau Lancang (4 beds)

6. Untung Jawa Island Urban Village

- SMPN 241 (4 beds)

- Homestay belongs to city government (2 beds)

He added facilities and infrastructure, as well as medical personnel, were being prepared thus operations and services for COVID-19 patients in controlled isolation locations could be optimal.

"This controlled isolation location is needed to anticipate additional cases of COVID-19 and minimize transmission in the family cluster," he stated.
