East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency is preparing mitigation measures as they anticipate floods, after parts of Jakarta were already inundated lately.
East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head Muchtar Zakaria said one of them was by alerting as many as 668 firefighters in tens Gulkarmat sectors across East Jakarta.

His party also had prepared infrastructure in disaster mitigation, starting from 37 pump cars, 10 rescue cars and 17 support cars.
There were also 37 inflatable boats, 22 fiber boats, 15 rubber boats, 6 floating pumps, 6 floating pumps in the car, 140 buoys and 114 oars.
"We also routinely spray box culverts and assist other officers in cleaning the drains," he stated.
