JAKI App Wins IdenTIK 2020 Competition

The Jakarta Kini (JAKI) app which developed by Jakarta Government won the first place in national competition for Indonesia Enterpreneur ICT Program or IdenTIK 2020 held by Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo).

It is considered to be able to compete with number of ASEAN countries, particularly Singapore

Jakarta Communication, Information, and Statistic Agency (Diskominfotik)'s Jakarta Smart City BLUD Head, Yudhistira Nugraha conveyed, JAKI app won the first place in public sector category which was announced by the jury on last Wednesday (10/28).

According to him, one of important points that made JAKI app win this competition was the idea of super app as a collaborative ecosystem, a place for collaboration of all sectors.

"JAKI app as a supper app has attracted juries and it is considered to be able to compete with number of ASEAN countries, particularly Singapore," he said, Saturday (10/31).

With this achievement, he continued, JAKI app will represent the Indonesian Government at the ASEAN ICT Awards 2020 that will be held in Malaysia.

"We are preparing ourselves to take a part in the ASEAN ICT Awards 2020 in Malaysia, although the timing of event is still uncertain due to COVID-19 outbreak," he mentioned.

For information, IdenTIK 2020 competition registration was opened on early February 2020. There were 6 categories contested in the competition, namely Research and Development, Public Sector, Startup Company, Corporate Special Responsibility, and Private Sector.
