Modern and Contemporary Concepts in Four Transjakarta Bus Stops Soon

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is about to redesign the damaged bus stops with a modern and contemporary concept due to the demonstration on October 8. It will certainly be much better than before.

Our focus is at least four stops, namely Sarinah, HI Roundabout, Tosari and Dukuh Atas 1. They will be built with two floors

"We're still discussing it with related parties, whether the demolition is needed or just rebuilt with a new design," expressed PT Transjakarta President Director, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo, Wednesday (11/4).

Eventually, he explained it was not only in terms of transportation needs but commuters could also make it a part of their lifestyle in carrying out their daily activities.

Transjakarta Service Returns to Normal

"Our focus is at least four stops, namely Sarinah, HI Roundabout, Tosari and Dukuh Atas 1. They will be built with two floors," he said.

According to him, the ground floor would be the place for transportation activities such as boarding and trunks, waiting rooms and so on. While the top floor was used for a restaurant, a coffee shop, a gallery viewing and so on.

"By so they can experience a fun and different experience when using Transjakarta services," he stated.
