Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Cases as of November 5

The number of people tested last week has reached 47,838

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of November 5.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, based on the latest data, the swab tests had been carried out on 9,612 specimens. 7,690 of them were to diagnose new cases with 791 positive and 6,899 negative results.

"The number of people tested last week has reached 47,838, while 124,248 people have undergone the swab tests," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (11/5).

As for the number of active cases in Jakarta to date was 8,274 people who were undergoing self-isolation at home (including data of athlete's homestead) or decreased to 198. As for the total number of confirmed cases in Jakarta today was 109,411 cases.

Of these cases, 98,806 people were cured with a cure rate reaching 90.3% and 2,331 people died with a death rate of 2.1%, while Indonesia's death rate was 3.4%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 9.9%, while Indonesia was 8.3%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Together with Satpol PP, the operation for residents who do not wear masks will also be intensified, including other PSSB violations. Hopefully, they can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in stopping the chain of COVID-19.
