Person in Charge of Untung Jawa Island Integrated Post who also the Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 8 Head, Eko Mahendro mentioned, his side cooperates with regional apparatuses organization (OPD), police, and FKDM to monitor health protocol compliance.

"Untung Jawa Island is a residential island as well as one of the most visited tourist destinations. We need to monitor health protocols compliance regularly to prevent COVID-19 transmission," he asserted, Friday (11/6).

His side also monitors residents and tourists who get off the ship at main pier. They are required to wear mask, have their body temperature checked, wash their hands with soap in hand washing facilities, and maintain distance or avoid crowds.

"We are grateful that people become more disciplined and comply with health protocols. So far, we haven't found any violations, even in pier, tourist attractions, and residential areas, all have implemented health protocols well," he closed.
