JakWiFi Program Helps Lighten Burden of Penjaringan People

I would like to thank the government for facilitating JakWiFi for local residents

Residents living in RW 02, Penjaringan, North Jakarta appreciated the free internet access service (JakWiFi) launched since August.

For most residents, it is very helpful in the activities of the Distance Learning system (PJJ) for children during the pandemic.

RW 02 Chairman, Penjaringan, Dimas Sriyono said previously many complained about the additional cost of buying a quota package for PJJ for their children who attend school.

"However the situation changed when this service installed, they are very enthusiastic," he expressed, Monday (11/16).

He admitted some of them already had WiFi services at their homes yet not a few also have difficulty accessing the internet.

"I would like to thank the government for facilitating JakWiFi for local residents," he explained.

Siti Khadijah, one of residents in RT 04/02 Penjaringan admitted she could save on family expenses as she no longer needed to buy internet quota for her children. Moreover, the free wifi area coverage is still in a residential area not far from her house.

"Alhamdulillah I am very happy since JakWiFi existed. We no longer pay for internet quota for children who are following PJJ," she admitted.
