The Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency continues to optimize anticipatory efforts to prevent flooding in six priority locations.

"In Kebon Kelapa area, we make a long storage as a water catchment as wide as 1 meter to 2.5 meters with 75 meters long," he expressed, Monday (11/16).
He added, flood handling in Tanah Abang had been carried out, including repairing the drain, especially for sodetan in Karet Tengsin, adding a portable pump on Jalan Margono and dredging the West Flood Canal.
Aside that the sub-agency also dredged up drains along Jalan Utan Kayu until Rawasari, Cempaka Putih with a target of 2.5 kilometers length.
