Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Thousand Islands were pleased to access free internet called JakWIFI in their region.

JakWiFi Program Helps Lighten Burden of Penjaringan PeopleOne of MSMEs in Tidung Island, Mariyam was pleased to access JakWIFI because now it is available in Tidung Ceria Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA).
"Alhamdulillah, it helps us to improve online marketing for my business," he conveyed, Tuesday (11/17).
JakWIFI installation was also appreciated by Jejak Seribu community that mentor MSMEs in Thousand Islands.
Jejak Seribu Chairperson, Andi Hakim mentioned, previously MSMEs sold their products from island to island conventionally, through exhibitions and bazaars. Now, after JakWIFI installed in the island, marketing can be done online.
"This free internet access is not only useful for distance learning, but also MSMEs," he added.
He expected there will be more JakWIFI access points in Thousand Islands Regency. Thus more people can get the benefits, especially during COVID-19 pandemic.
"Many people feel the benefits from JakWIFI. Hopefully, there will be more points to access internet for free in Thousand Islands," he said.
