Supporting Go Green, Bapenda Improves Digital Tax Services

Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) is gradually transforming into digital to improve local tax services for Jakarta residents.

In the future, we will be integrated with one of Jakarta Government's apps called JAKI

Jakarta Bapenda Head, Mohammad Tsani Annafari stated, this transformation supported Go Green movement which campaigned by Jakarta Government to reduce the use of paper.

"Digital transformation of regional taxes begins from application for exemption of motor vehicle tax (PKB), vehicle-ownership transfer fee (BBNKB), hotel tax and restaurant tax to foreign country representatives, foreign country representative officials and Agency or International Institution representatives," he explained, Saturday (11/28).

He informed, the taxpayers can access website https://bapenda.jakarta.go.id/digital to enjoy the features such as single sign on; digital tax free certificate; 24-hour digital service; letter validation through electronic signature services; and contact center service.

After clicking 24-hour digital service, taxpayer can fill the application and verification forms, settlement time, approval and signature by Bapenda Head.

"Jakarta Bapenda continues to develop our online service system to improve effectiveness and quality of local tax services. In the future, we will be integrated with one of Jakarta Government's apps called JAKI," he conveyed.
