Spraying Disinfectant at Jakarta City Hall will Run for Three Consecutive Days

After spraying the disinfectant, we soon decontaminated the personnel and equipment

The Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency have deployed 150 firefighters assisted by 110 janitors from the public bureau and ASD to spray disinfectants throughout the City Hall complex on Tuesday (12/1) at 4 PM.

It is done to follow up on the Governor's request and public bureau in order to contain the spread of COVID-19 transmission at the City Hall.

Jakarta Gulkarmet Agency Head Satriadi Gunawan said those personnel would be completed with 41 power sprayer units and 1 watermis unit to spray disinfectant. "We spray all rooms and floors of the Block A until G, Great Hall building, including outside the building area," he told, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (12/1).

"After spraying the disinfectant, we soon decontaminated the personnel and equipment," he said.

Operations Control Division Head Mulyanto asserted it was actually a routine agenda every Friday afternoon at the City Hall building. But this time it would be done for three consecutive days.

As for the information, the main City Hall building, which is located different from the governor and its partner's offices, will continue to operate under strict health protocols.

"This afternoon we got orders from the boss to spray disinfectant for three days, precisely on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Certainly we will spray all rooms and floors of the building through 150 personnel," he closed.
