East Jakarta Has Conducted Fire Socialization in 269 Locations

It is done to minimize fire disaster in our region

The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Head Muchtar Zakaria has noted that fire socialization has been conducted in 269 locations during November 2020.

"It is a routine agenda every day. It is done to minimize fire disaster in our region," he expressed, Wednesday (12/2).

East Jakarta Has Conducted Fire Socialization in 46 Locations

In the meantime, East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Prevention Division Head Edi Parwoko explained, from 269 locations, 25 were in residential areas and 244 were in places of worship.

"Especially socialization places of worship, we do it using motorbikes and by means of loudspeakers," he explained.

He added it was conducted at 9 AM and 4 PM to 5 PM by deploying 500 motorbikes plus 750 personnel.

"Socialization during this pandemic period doesn't use the media of gas stoves and other kitchen utensils and continues to apply health protocols," he stated.
