One of Transjakarta users, Nichmatul (29) conveyed that she was greatly helped by free WIFI facility which provided by PT. Transjakarta.

"I once forgot to buy internet package and when I knew that bus stops at Corridor 1 had free WIFI facility, I tried to use it. Wow, it really helped me to contact friends and access information even though I haven't buy internet package at that time," she said, Wednesday (2/12).

With high-speed WIFI, she assessed, all information can be accessed fast and easily in your hand.

"It really makes it easier for people to access internet," she mentioned.

PT. Transjakarta Digital Transformation, Technology, and Information Executive Director, Gidionton Saritua stated, free WIFI program was launched to support digital transformation in Transjakarta. This facility can be accessed during Transjakarta's operating hours.

"WIFI facility can be enjoyed during bus stops operating hours," he added.

According to him, only Transjakarta users who are at the bus stop can access WIFI with strong signal. When people are a few meters outside the bus stop, the signal strengt is drastistically reduced to the point of being inaccessible.

"It is to ensure only Transjakarta users at bus stops who can use this facility," he mentioned.
