Mobile Floating Clinic to Serve Thousand Islands Residents

The Thousand Islands Regency administration collaborates with PT Kimia Farma and Al-quran Waqf Board will provide free health services through floating mobile clinics starting December 21.

Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi expressed his appreciation on the initiative to provide health services for residents.

"Thanks for the free health services that will be held on residential islands," he expressed, Wednesday (12/9).

Floating Restaurant Construction on Pramuka Island Begins

He explained, as the initial stage, it was slated to be held on Untung Jawa and Lancang islands, Thousand Islands Sub-district, which falls on December 21-23. It would also be held on Tidung, Pari, Kelapa, Harapan, Panggang and Pramuka islands in early January 2021.

"It will greatly help residents who need health services. Along with that, we also intend to socialize the importance of implementing a clean and healthy lifestyle or PHBS to residents," he told.
