Channel dredging which carried out on Jl. Raya Cakung Cilincing (Cacing) RW 11 Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta is targeted to finish this week.

This dredging work is done to overcome inundation that often occur when the heavy rain falls.

Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyo conveyed, channel dredging work has been carried out since Monday (12/14) and targeted to finish in 1-2 days.

"We deploy 6 PPSU personnel every day to dredge it," he informed, Thursday (12/17).

This channel has width and height about 60x80 centimeters. While his side dredged about 200 meters of the channel.

"Mud sedimentation thickness varies between 30-40 centimeters. It often causes inundation when it rains," he mentioned.
