25 Illegal Cafes in Cilincing Sealed for Crowd Amid Coronavirus

As many as 25 illegal cafes on Cakung Drain River inspection roads, Cilincing Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta had to be sealed. The officers also cut off electricity (PLN) and water (PAM) connections in the area, which is commonly called Rawa Malang.

North Jakarta Satpol PP Head Yusuf Majid said it was done to anticipate the crowd and the spread of COVID-19 transmission.

"Today we still find illegal cafes, precisely in the area under the bridge," he expressed, Monday (12/21).

Health Protocols Monitoring in Semper Barat will Be Intensified

In the field, his side involved officers of PT PLN Marunda and PT Aetra in order to cut off electricity and water connections in these illegal cafes.

"In total we have 380 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army/police, sub-district and urban village, PT PLN Marunda, PT Aetra until City Council and FKDM," he stated.
