Jakarta will see light rains on this Tuesday (1/5).

In the afternoon, light rain will pour in South, Central, East and North Jakarta

The weather prediction was made by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), which also said that five regions will be cloudy in the morning, except Thousand Islands.

"In the afternoon, light rain will pour in South, Central, East and North Jakarta," expressed BMKG's Public Relations Sub-division Head, Achmad Taufan Maulana.

In the evening, light rain is expected in Thousand Islands. At dawn, West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands would see some rains with ligth to medium intensity.

Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 31 degrees Celsius with humidity of 80 to 95 percent. While the Southwest-North wind speeds, 05 to 25 kilometers per hour.

BMKG also urges residents to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in South and East Jakarta areas in the afternoon and Thousand Islands and North Jakarta at dawn.
