6 Locations in Tidung Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 8 personnel carried out disinfectant spraying in 6 locations in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

We use 30 liters disinfectant liquid in total

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-agency Sector 8 Head, Eko Mahendro stated, disinfectant spraying was carried out because there were residents and homestay owner who were exposed to COVID-19.

"As requested by Tidung Island Health Center (Puskesmas), we disinfect one house at RT 01/01, RT 03/02, RT 09/03, RT 02/04, RT 03/04, and one homestay at RT 01/01," he mentioned, Wednesday (1/6)

In carrying out disinfectant spraying in 6 locations, his side deployed 6 personnel and 2 water sprayers. They sprayed all areas, start from yard, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and frequently used equipment.

"We use 30 liters disinfectant liquid in total. Hopefully it can prevent COVID-19 transmission," he said.
