Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRAs) in Thousand Islands closed again due to Strict Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) which implemented on January 11-25, 2021.
There are nine RPTRAs in Thousand Islands that have been closed to the public since last Monday
Thousand Islands Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency Head, Rizki Hamid stated, RPTRA closure referred to Jakarta Gubernatorial Decree (Kepgub) No. 19/2021 concerning Enforcement, Duration, and Limitation on Activities Outside Home in Large-Scale Social Restrictions.
"RPTRA closure in Thousand Islands also carried out to follow up Jakarta PPAPP Agency Head Circular Letter No. 1/SE/2021 on RPTRA Closure during PSBB Period. There are nine RPTRAs in Thousand Islands that have been closed to the public since last Monday," he explained, Wednesday (1/13).
South Jakarta Closes 28 RPTRAsAccording to him, during the closure, residents are prohibited from carrying out activities in RPTRA. Therefore, he asked residents, especially children to continue exercising and have positive activities at home.
"By closing RPTRAs, we want to minimize the potential of COVID-19 transmission. Hopefully this pandemic will end soon and we can do activities in RTPRA as usual," he mentioned.
