Thousand Islands is Ready to Carry Out COVID-19 Vaccination Program

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency is ready to carry out COVID-19 vaccination program. For the initial stage or priority stage, vaccination will be given to health workers as the frontline for handling COVID-19.

Thousand Islands will receive 800 doses of vaccine in February

Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendi conveyed, the vaccinators have been socialized and trained before carrying out vaccination.

"In total, there are around 130 thousands health workers in Jakarta and 371 health workers assigned in Thousand Islands. They become the main target for this vaccination," he asserted, Wednesday (1/13).

In the initial phase, Thousand Islands will receive 800 doses of vaccine in February.

"Health workers who are the COVID-19 survivors will not be vaccinated in the first stage. In using the vaccines, we do it according to the provisions that have been determined," he mentioned.
