Thousand Islands PMI Provides Logistic Aid for Rescue Team in Lancang Island Post

Thousand Islands PMI distributed logistic aid in form of foods, drinks, and medicines to search post of Sriwijaya Air plane victims and materials on Lancang Islands, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands PMI Deputy Head, Ayub Chalid mentioned, this assistance was provided to support personnel and volunteers in doing their work in searching for victims and plane materials.

"We provide logistic aid in form of eggs, sugar, coffee, tea, soy sauce, condiments, canned milk, sauce, tissue, medicine, and vitamin," he said, after handing over the aid to Lancang Island Post's public kitchen, Wednesday (1/13).

Moreover, his side also deployed 6 PMI personnel from the first day of search for victims and plane materials.
