We regularly send our men to do sweeping in a bid to ensure the availability of water in each portable sink

The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is regularly checking to ensure the availability of water in portable sinks installed in public facilities in Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

According to Abdul Rouf, Sub-agency Head of Thousand Islands SDA, portable sink was available already in piers, residential areas, until government offices.

Portable Sinks Distributed to An-Ni'mah Mosque on Panggang Island

"We regularly send our men to do sweeping in a bid to ensure the availability of water in each portable sink," he expressed, Monday (1/25).

He explained that the water itself was flowed from the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) with a need of reaching 200-300 liters per filling.

"Hopefully residents can increasingly obey health protocols to contain the spread of COVID-19, one of which is to wash their hands with soap in running water," he hoped.
