Self-Isolation Locations in Tidung Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Thousand Islands sterilized resident houses and homestay units located at RT 01/01, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district which used as self-isolation locations for COVID-19 patients.

Disinfectant spraying is expected to stop COVID-19 transmission in Tidung Island

Thousand Islands PMI Volunteer Coordinator in Tidung Island Urban Village, Bahrun Ulum mentioned, disinfectant spraying was carried out to follow up request from local urban village and health center (puskesmas).

"We deploy 4 volunteers who are equipped with personal protective equipment and 2 sprayers," he mentioned, Tuesday (1/26).

According to him, all rooms were disinfected, from yard, terrace, living room, bedroom, to bathroom.

"Disinfectant spraying is expected to stop COVID-19 transmission in Tidung Island," he stated.
