Satpol PP Intensifies PSBB Monitoring Against Street Vendors

To anticipate the same case, we will do a routine patrol

The Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP, held a sudden inspection (sidak) towards street vendors (PKL) who set up stalls on the roadside and the sidewalk in Palmerah Barat and Kebon Kacang markets, on Wednesday (2/3).

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head Budi Salamun said, in the raid, his side alerted members of Gelora, Kebon Kacang and Kebon Melati urban villages, as well as operational trucks.

"Prior the raid, we've taken a humanist approach to traders. This is to anticipate the crowd that triggers the spread of COVID-19," he expressed, Wednesday (2/3).

His side also coordinated with the Perumda Pasar Jaya to facilitate them who have been selling along the sidewalks can enter the market area.
