Balekambang Prioritizes Development of Three Channels in Musrenbang Meeting

Hopefully the proposal can be realized in this year

The water channel development work in three locations has become a priority scale in the regional development planning forums (musrenbang) for the Balekambang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on Thursday (2/4) afternoon.

The meeting led by East Jakarta People's Welfare Assistant Alawi was held virtually from his office in the mayor's office.

Balekambang Urban Village Acting Head Benar Sigalingging said three channels proposed were located on Jalan Kayumanis RW 05 (715 meters length, Jalan Manunggal RW 04 (350 meters length), and Jalan Pangeran RW 02 (450 meters length).

"It has been suggested four times but has always been rejected. As results, the village is often inundated when rain pours. Hopefully the proposal can be realized in this year," he stated.

In the musrenbang, he explained, residents from seven RWs filed 87 proposals consisting of 74 physical items, 10 non-physical items and 3 items worth Rp 23.005 billion.

As for 74 physical items, he explained, 26 of them were from Bina Marga Sub-agency, 42 were from SDA Sub-agency and 6 were from Transportation Sub-agency.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Secretary Sri Sundari, appreciated the RW caretakers and locals who had actively participated in the meeting. Hopefully, what the residents suggest could be realized as it was an urgent need.

"Yet we also aware of limited budget. So there needs to be a priority scale that is realized," she stated.
