Some 3,250 boxes of package rice meals plus mineral water began to be distributed to flood-stricken areas spread across in six urban villages.
"We'll supply again for dinner," said East Jakarta Social Sub-agency for Social Protection and Food Management Division Head, Abdul Salam, Tuesday (2/9).
Floods in Pejaten Timur Have Begun to RecedeAccording to him, those package rice meals were sent to Cawang (600 boxes), Cililitan (500 boxes), Balekambang (500 boxes), Kebon Manggis (300 boxes), Kampung Melayu (650 boxes), and Bidara Cina (700 boxes).
He mentioned the logistic aid will continuously be supplied, as long as the flood-affected residents were in shelters.
