Latest COVID-19 Information in Jakarta as of March 1, 2021

Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

Number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 82,856

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 9,316 specimens. From that amount, 8,104 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 2,058 positive results and 6,046 negative results.

"For information, 288,428 PCR tests have been carried out per 1 million population. While the number of people tested for PCR in the past week reached 82,856. Number of positive cases declined by 609 cases thus in total it reached 9,756 active cases as of today (including people who are still being treated/isolated)," she explained as quoted in Jakarta PPID Press Release, on Monday (3/1).

Meanwhile for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 341,793 cases. From that amount, 326,509 people recovered with recovery rate of 95.5% and 5,528 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%

For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 12.9%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 11.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

The following is Jakarta Satpol PP's daily report as of February 28, 2021 which submitted at 20:00;

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 7

- Dismissal and Written Warning = 33

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 226

Total = 269

C. Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places

- Administrative Fines = 0

- Temporary Suspension of Activity for 3x24 Hours = 0

- Written Warning = 3

- License Revocation = 0

- Zero Violation = 115

Total = 118

- Individual = Rp 23,500,000

- Restaurants = -

- Workplaces, Business Places, and Industrial Places = -
