225,950 Elderly People in East Jakarta Targeted to Receive COVID Vaccine

The East Jakarta Health Sub-agency targets to vaccinate around 225,950 elderly people spread over ten sub-districts that have been ongoing since yesterday.

To optimize it, he also had collaborated with the Communication, Informatic and Statistic Agency, Satpol PP, Education Agency, mayors, sub-district heads, urban village heads and so forth.

He would also hold the COVID-19 vaccination in schools and education and training (diklat) places for accommodating more participants. He added, the number of medical workers deployed for the vaccination was different for each district, according to the number of coverage areas and the number of residents.

"At least, there are about three to six teams in each district. Each team consists of seven medical workers," he concluded.
