Jakarta Launches KSBB for Settlement Arrangement and Waste

The Jakarta administration, launched two large-scale social collaboration (KSBB) programs, namely in the field of settlement arrangement and waste processing.
Those two programs were made virtually and witnessed by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and his partner, ranks of Jakarta administration, as well as aggregators and collaborators, at the Jakarta City Hall, on Tuesday (3/2).

He mentioned, this collaboration is a sign and a tangible manifestation that Jakartans have great concern for others.
"Apart from carrying out development, the government also encourages all circles to advance the city. Many successful individuals want to do good, but they need a forum, and this is the KSBB forum," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.
He went on to say that the KSBB program is a stimulus for more interaction between the assisted residents and those who help, thus it is hoped that there will be a relationship that is not just a program, but also an emotional relationship between the two parties. Moreover, it managed a field that is very close to the residential area, especially the urban environment in Jakarta.
"Earlier, it was said that there was a Kampung Asuh program in Tanah Merah, North Jakarta, hopefully there will be more than hard infrastructure development, but an emotional bond is built between those who are supported and those who are supportive," he continued.
He also hoped that the KSBB platform can develop from year to year, as it is a long-term program. Thus, the impact will not only promote development in Jakarta, but also lead to stronger unity in Jakarta.
"This is one of our efforts to encourage progress in Jakarta, but further what we do is ultimately to build unity in this city, which is manifested through action, interaction, feelings of mutual help, our feeling that our city is becoming a family. And it must be grown, one of which is through KSBB," he asserted.
"Sense of solidarity, mutual respect and respect will emerge through the program and will manifest as an endeavor to reduce social inequality and the effect of the sense of inequality as its citizens help each other and support each other," he continued.
Jakarta Deputy Governor for Population and Settlement Control, who is also the Chair of JDCN, Suharti, explained settlement arrangement is a movement to help fellow members of the community for the community in order to improve the quality of settlements and in the framework of structuring residential areas in an integrated, synergistic, collaborative and sustainable manner. The locations of the settlement arrangement are spread across 68 densely populated RWs in Jakarta.

2. Complete RW Arrangement Package
3. Joint RW Arrangement Package

As for the KSBB waste processing is a movement that brings help fellow collaborators with the community in waste management activities to create a clean Jakarta. "Let's take part in helping residents in need through the platform provided. It is expected to continue to grow, spread to a wider reach, to transform what is now deemed a problem into a new solution and reality," he exclaimed.
It is realized by cooperating with aggregators including the Tunas Muda Care Foundation (T-Care); Polar Social House Foundation; Jakarta Baznas Bazis; Rumah Zakat Foundation; Aksi Cepat Tanggap Foundation (ACT); Human Initiative; and Plan Indonesia Foundation.
