Water for Handwashing Facilities on Untung Jawa Island Continuously Supplied

Through four officers, we're distributing around 300 liters of water from the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis on Untung Jawa Island

The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency conducts water filling on handwashing facilities consisting of a sink with tap water that are available on neighborhood roads, piers, offices and other public facilities at RW 01, RW 02, and RW 03, Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Island Sub-district.

"Through four officers, we're distributing around 300 liters of water from the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis on Untung Jawa Island," expressed Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Abdul Rouf, Thursday (3/4).

Coronavirus Handwashing Facilities are Now Available in Public Areas

He explained the availability of clean water for washing hands is one of the efforts to make it easier for people to implement health protocols for curbing the transmission of COVID-19. Moreover, Untung Jawa Island is one of the tourist destinations for a residential island that is crowded by visitors every weekend.

"The availability of water in handwashing facilities will make it easier for us to implement health protocols, especially washing hands with soap," he stated.
