2,394 Damaged Roads in East Jakarta have Been Repaired

The East Jakarta Bina Marga Road Sub-agency has noted that as many as 2,394 damaged roads in ten sub-districts have been repaired completely during January to early March.

Most of the roads are damaged due to rainwater

Road and Bridge Division Head Ilham Raya said, the 2,394 points of the repaired road totaled 5,234.18 square meters width. The repair included neighborhood roads, connecting roads, protocols and arterial roads.

"Most of the roads are damaged due to rainwater," he said, Friday (3/5).

Bina Marga Repairs 8,998 Damaged Road Points

Of the 2,394 points, 843 were repaired in January, 1,500 were repaired in February and 51 other points were in repaired in March.

"This number is likely to increase considering that current repair process is still ongoing every day," he uttered.

For the details of the area, he added, Kramat Jati (630 points), Jatinegara (438 points), Duren Sawit (352 points), Matraman (244 points), Cakung (180 points), Makassar (146 points), Pulogadung (119 points), Ciracas (115 points), Cipayung (111 points), and Pasar Rebo (59 points).
