East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar accompanied by Community Welfare Division Head, Muchtar; Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, Eka Darmawan; and Cililitan Urban Village Head, Agung Budi Santoso visited Al-Hayah Hayatuna Islamic Boarding School on Jalan Ciliwung, Cililitan, this Friday (3/5).

According to him, his side regularly visits Islamic boarding schools, orphanages, and worship places every Friday in activity called Friday Safari program which carried out to build good relationship with residents.

"As usual, we hold Friday Safari while visiting residents," he conveyed.
During this activity, his side provided assistance in form of five sacks of rice and sum of money to Al-Hayah Hayatuna Islamic Boarding School administrator, K.H. Ali Akhmadi.
"Hopefully this assistance can be useful for them and ease their burden," he said.
He also advised the administrators to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols, in order to stop COVID-19 transmission.
Meanwhile, Al-Hayah Hayatuna Islamic Boarding School Administrator, K.H. Ali Akhmadi expressed his gratitude for assistance given by East Jakarta Government. According to him, currently there are 200 students and 50 of them stay in Islamic boarding school.
"During the pandemic, teaching and learning activities are carried out virtually thus health protocols can be maintained," he stated.
