"We have installed wifi service here (Kota Tua) a few months ago. Nowadays, we are processing the addition of wi-fi network that were already installed eight points," said Head of Kota Tua UPK, Gathut Dwihastoro, Saturday (11/8).

According to him, the installation itself took at least a week. In addition, it must also get approval from some parties. "Wi-fi cannot be installed in a day because it needs approval from some parties," he exclaimed.

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, in Taman Fatahillah, there are some wi-fi networks, with a wide selection of wi-fi signal, ranging from Speedy Instan@wifi.id, flashzone-seamless, @wifi.id, and Wifi-Ku Internet Gratis.

Hamzah, (23), one of Kota Tua visitors admitted he has long been using wi-fi in Kota Tua. "My friends and I often use free wi-fi here (Kota Tua) while recreation. It’s important to tourists, thus I and other visitors have not to pay expensive international roaming," he expressed.
