Public Areas on Pramuka Island Sprayed with Disinfectant

Firefighters spray disinfe ctant in a number of public areas spread over Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands, Thousand Islands.

This is also done as Pramuka Island is one of tourist destinations visited by many visitors

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Sector 7 Head, Buang Miharja said that it was conducted, as public areas were often crowded with residents and tourists.

"This is also done as Pramuka Island is one of tourist destinations visited by many visitors," he stated, Friday (3/12).

He explained it was focused on the homestay area, gazebo, Tanjung Elang RPTRA, on the main road of Pramuka Island, and Jalan Ikan Baracuda at RT 05/04, to the main pier of Pramuka Island.

"Five firefighters have been alerted to the location plus rescue boat from the Karya Island Command Post and two units of water sprayer. Today we have spent 30 liters of disinfectant liquid," he stated.
