BMKG: Parts of Jakarta will Be Bright Cloudy Today

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicted that the weather for Jakarta area on Wednesday (3/17) is dominated by cloudiness in parts of cities.

Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in parts of South Jakarta in the afternoon

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in parts of South Jakarta in the afternoon," quoted from BMKG's official site.

BMKG also issued the afternoon of potential bright cloudy in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands. But light rain is expected in South and East Jakarta.

Rain with Lightning and Strong Wind is Potential to Occur in Parts of Jakarta

Then all five regions and Thousand Islands would see bright cloudy in the evening until at dawn.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 24 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 70-95 percent.
