From January to March 14, South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has repaired 1,801 damaged sidewalk points in 10 sub-districts.

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Heru Suwondo mentioned, repair works, such as repairing paving blocks, concrete curbs, and ditches, were carried out by personnel from units at sub-districts and city levels.

"Sidewalk repair and maintenance are carried out for pedestrians' safety and comfort. Also, to make it looks more beautiful and neat," he explained, Friday (3/29).

In details, there were 135 damaged points in Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, 52 points in Pesanggrahan Sub-district, 448 points in Tebet Sub-district, 86 points in Pasar Minggu Sub-district, 149 points in Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, 80 points in Cilandak Sub-district, 137 points in Pancoran Sub-district.

Then, 125 points in Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, 362 points in Setiabudi Sub-district, and 13 points in Jagakarsa Sub-district. While at city levels Aji Team has repaired 95 points and Ilham Team has repaired 119 points.

"We also repair channel's retaining wall, dismantled and installed driveways (inrit) in 286 locations. As well as cleaning and painting sidewalks, bridges, roads and MCBs in 451 locations," he said.
