COVID-19 Monitoring Continues to Be Intensifed on Tidung Island

Tidung Island Urban Village COVID-19 Task Force, Thousand Islands Sub-district intensifies its efforts to prevent COVID-19 spread.

It is to ensure ship passengers are complying with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 spread on Tidung Island

Strict health protocols are routinely implemented for ship passengers, both residents and tourists who disembark on Tidung Island Main Pier.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah mentioned, health protocols monitoring was carried out by urban village apparatuses together with regional apparatuses organizations (OPDs), TNI/Police.

"It is to ensure ship passengers are complying with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 spread on Tidung Island," he mentioned, Thursday (4/1).

In this monitoring, there were 20 passengers from Kaliadem Pier who disembarked at Tidung Island Main Pier. Their body temperature were checked and they were asked to show their negative COVID-19 certificate.

"All passengers we checked have brought negative COVID-19 certificate. But, our health teams are still on standby to hold rapid antigen test for passengers who cannot show negative COVID-19 certificate," he said.

He urged residents and tourists to comply with health protocols by washing their hands and wearing masks when doing activities in public areas.

"Through these anticipatory efforts, COVID-19 cases on Tidung Island can be prevented as early as possible," he conveyed.
