The public transport drivers complained the trash pile along the entrance of Pasar Minggu Terminal, South Jakarta. Besides spread the bad smell, the trash pile also disturbs public transports entering the terminal.

Based on beritajakarta.com observation, the trash pile obstructing almost a half of the road. The biggest pile appears beside PD Pasar Jaya Pasar Minggu Area office.

They prefer turned back. "It takes long time when we dare entering terminal," he added.
Related to this matter, South Jakarta Head of Sub-dept. of Cleanliness, Zaenal Syarifudin, said Pasar Minggu Garbage Disposal (TPS) is able to accommodate up to 16 tons per day. The garbage is also routinely disposed to Bantar Gebang, Bekasi.
"The trash is commonly from street vendors who selling at night. Mostly of them are vegetables, fruits, and herbs traders. Unfortunately, they are reluctant to dispose the garbage in TPS," Zaenal said.
Meanwhile, Acting South Jakarta Transportation Head, Arifin Hamonangan said, his side will control public transport driver who stops carelessly.
"They already violated Bylaw No 8/2007 about Public Order," he stated.
