House Building on Lancang Island Disinfected as Owner Tests Positive for Coronavirus

Firefighters under the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat)'s Sector 8 spray disinfectant in one of citizens' houses affected by COVID-19 on Lancang Island, RT 01/01, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district Sub-district.

"It is done to follow up on requests from the local puskesmas and the COVID-19 Task Force," expressed North Jakarta and North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Sector 8 Head, Dede Budi, Monday (4/12).

He stated that the action involved two personnel plus one water sprayer. It was focused on the yard, living room, bedroom, kitchen to the bathroom.

"Today we have spent 15 liters of disinfectant liquid. Hopefully it is able to curb the spread of COVID-19 optimally," he hoped.
