West Jakarta Mayor Encourages All Parties to Succeed Jabfest

West Jakarta Mayor, Uus Kuswanto asked State Civil Apparatuses (ASNs) and residents to participate in the success of West Jakarta Jakpreneur Festival (Jabfest) which held virtually from April 19 to May 19, 2021.

This virtual bazaar is held to support local products made by SMEs in West Jakarta

"This virtual bazaar is held to support local products made by SMEs in West Jakarta, thus wider community can play a role in overcoming the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, especially in economic sector," he stated, Monday (4/12).

He also encourages ranks of Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency to access Jabfestivalofficial.com and Instagram @jabfest.id, as well as buying superior local products of West Jakarta.

According to him, SME is one of economic strengths which is quite worrying during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Hopefully, supports from Government through Jakpreneur program can give better opportunities for economic actors whose activities are limited due to pandemic," he mentioned.

This activity aims to boost economy in West Jakarta. Thus it is hoped economy can continue to grow and become one of community's income.

"God willing, if people's economy is good, it will help strengthen resilience in Jakarta both economically and physically," he closed.
