Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi, welcomed and released the assignment of 10 ambassadors for Tarawih night prayer Imams who will carry out their duties in Thousand Islands.
According to him, it was the result of collaboration between the Jakarta administration and Baznas Bazis with the Institute for Language and Science of the Quran (LBIQ).

Jakarta LBIQ's Library and Publication Division Head, Ahmad Munthoi added that those Imams were selected after participating in an open selection.
"They will receive an honorarium by Rp 750,000, including lodging and meals by Rp 350,000. It will be paid when they served as an Imam," he stated.
