The Penjaringan Sub-district Puskesmas , North Jakarta has noted that at least 20,198 or 65.75 percent out of 30,717 elderlies have been vaccinated against Covid-19 until April 24.

Penjaringan Sub-district Puskesmas Head, Dicky Alsadik said vaccination was continuously accelerated by cooperating with local sub-districts, urban villages, RT/RW caretakers, dasa wisma and PKK cadres in a bid to make an inventory of the elderly who have not received vaccination

"To hold vaccination, we also open dynamic vaccination posts at RW posts," he expressed, Monday (4/26).

There were also the puskesmas and across sector integrated mobile health promotion to provide an understanding of the importance of Covid vaccination and 5M health protocols (wearing masks, washing hands with soap and running water, maintaining physical distancing, avoiding the crowd, and limiting mobilization and interaction).

"It is campaigned via social media and Whatsapp group in resident communities," he exclaimed.

He added six other vaccination posts were also set up in Penjaringan, namely Kamal Muara Urban Village Puskesmas, Kapuk Muara Urban Village Puskesmas, Pluit Urban Village Puskesmas, Pejagalan Urban Village Puskesmas, and Penjaringan I Urban Village Puskesmas, including Penjaringan Sub-district Puskesmas.
