Approaching the enactment of homecoming ban policy on May 6-17, 2021, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) deployed tens personnel assisted by TNI/Police to guard several checkpoints in the region.

West Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Erwansyah conveyed, it was in accordance with COVID-19 Task Force Circular No. 13/2021 on Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri Annual Homecoming Exodus (Mudik) Ban and Efforts to Control the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) during Holy Month of Ramadan 1442 Hijri.
"There are 31 checkpoints for homecoming flows in Jabodetabek area. In West Jakarta, there are 2 checkpoints on Jl. Daan Mogot and Jl. Joglo Raya. Those roads are bordered by Tangerang City, Banten," he informed, Friday (4/30).

"Technically, personnel on duty will regulate traffic, socialize road users about homecoming ban, and check on documents and motor vehicle worthiness," he explained.
West Jakarta Sudinhub Operation Section Head, M. Wildan Anwar added, vehicle documents will be checked to anticipate illegal trips or overloaded freight transport and other vehicles that allegedly carrying passengers which don't comply with applicable regulations.
In carrying out their duties, his subordinates will prioritize persuasive actions, politeness, but also firm in taking action for those caught violating.
"All violations will be subject to BAP according to the type of violation," he stated.
