Central Jakarta Anticipates Crowd During Takbiran Night

Central Jakarta Government has prepared steps to anticipate residents' activities that trigger crowd during 'Takbiran' night celebration on eve of Eid a-Fitr.

Joint personnel are alerted in several roads and crowded points

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma stated, his side deployed joint personnel to be on guard in several roads and crowded points in 8 sub-districts.

"Joint personnel are alerted in several roads and crowded points to prevent crowd in order to avoid COVID-19 spread," he explained, Monday (5/10).

Environment Sub-agency to Deploy 220 Personnel During Takbiran Night

His side will also coordinate with related agencies to limit operating hours in tourist destinations.

"We hope residents can help government in tackling COVID-19," he asserted.
