Satpol PP Personnel Still on Standby to Monitor People's Mobility via Jakarta - Cikampek

Some 30 personnel of East Jakarta Satpol PP are still seen on standby at Jakarta - Cikampek elevated toll road, West Java in order to monitor the newcomers outside Jakarta.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budi Novian stated those personnel would be on duty until May 30 in line with the extension of the micro-scale public activity restrictions (PPKM Mikro). They were divided into three shifts every day.

"Our men randomly check newcomers who enter Jakarta via the Cikampek toll road," he expressed, Monday (5/24).

He explained that every newcomer who enters Jakarta should show health document. If not, they will undergo a rapid antigen test. If the results were reactive, they would continue to a swab test. If they were positive for Covid-19, they would be quarantined at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Then about the vehicle, the police would handle it.

As of May 23 to 25, there were about 408 vehicles with 1,183 people. From that number, 738 had undergone antigen test and 2 tested positive for Covid-19.

"We immediately bring them to the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran," he stated.
