Want to Enroll Children to School? Check Your NIK at Alpukat Betawi App

Jakartans, those of you who want to enroll your children in school, you may download the Alpukat Betawi application first. This application is able to determine whether your child can go to school in Jakarta or not.

Before enrolling children in school, parents should prepare the child's files

Registration Division Head, Puji Yanti disclosed that the application had all the data of the children in Jakarta adjusted to the registered Identity Number (NIK) kept by the Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil).

"Before enrolling children in school, parents should prepare the child's files. Then check whether the name is listed in the system data as a prospective new student or not," she stated.

After downloading the apps, she explained, then click Sectoral Traffic. There would be seen all prospective new students.

"If the name is not listed, please confirm to the sub-agency for requesting child registration in the system," she explained.  

She mentioned, in the PPDB for 2021/2022, the East Jakarta Education Sub-agency would conduct assistance, as prospective student data sent to the Education Agency would be re-checked for validity.

As for the information, this year, the city administration only welcomed students from Jakarta. Unless the child follows the parents move to Jakarta.
