January-May 2021, North Jakarta Dukcapil Prints 75,081 e-KTPs

In January-May 2021 period, North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency has printed 75,081 electronic identity cards (e-KTPs).

Total 75,081 e-KTPs have been distributed to North Jakarta residents

North Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Edward Idris informed, his side printed 15,191 e-KTPs in January, 14,018 e-KTPs in February, 17,882 e-KTPs in March, 16,014 e-KTPs in April, and 12,063 e-KTPs on May 1-26.

"Total 75,081 e-KTPs have been distributed to North Jakarta residents," he conveyed, Thursday (5/27).

According to him, e-KTPs printing service was provided to accelerate and facilitate residents who need services related to population administration.

"E-KTPs printing service is provided to increase the coverage of population document services. It is our effort to accelerate and facilitate residents to get population service," he added.

His side printed 75,081 e-KTPs to follow up residents' request for beginner e-KTP owners, lost, damaged, and returned e-KTPs and so on.

His side urged residents with age 16 or more to immediately record their data for e-KTP in local urban village office.

"Thus residents aged 16-17 can immediately record their data for e-KTP since e-KTP is important as their personal identity card," he closed.
