Thousand Islands Applies Online Public School Enrollment Registration

This policy refers to Gubernatorial Regulation number 32/2021 on Technical Instructions for PPDB

The Thousand Islands Education Sub-agency is set to implement an online registration system for public school enrollment (PPDB) for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.

Thousand Islands Education Sub-agency Acting Head, Sri Rahayu Asih Subekti said it was aimed at preventing crowding and gathering of parents at schools during the pandemic.

"This policy refers to Gubernatorial Regulation number 32/2021 on Technical Instructions for PPDB. The online system applies to all levels from elementary to high school starting from June 7-9 for registration according to requirements and June 10-11 for self-report for those who are accepted," she expressed, Friday (5/28).

As for early childhood education school (PAUD), she added, registration was slated on June 21-July 6 and self-report stage on July 8-9.

Then for those who want to register at the learning and teaching center (PKBM) in Thousand Islands for packages A, B and C could start registering on July 26-August 1 and were required to report on August 3-4.

"For further information, you may access the website at ppdb.jakarta.go.id or to PPDB committee which is usually assigned to each school in Thousand Islands," she explained.

According to her, information on registration and complaints, parents could contact the officer to specifically monitor the implementation of PPDB in Thousand Islands through the telephone numbers 081284170050 (Refinda) and 081385227919 (Andri).

"By so, parents who want to send their children to school can be more prepared and ready to prepare all the requirements," she said.
