109 Violators in Tanah Abang Netted during Mask Operation

This mask operation aims to increase public awareness of implementing health protocols amid the Covid-19 pandemic

The Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP, Central Jakarta, netted as many as 109 violators during the mask operation held in eight locations, on Friday (6/4).

"This mask operation aims to increase public awareness of implementing health protocols amid the Covid-19 pandemic," said Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Budi Salamun.

35 Netted for not Wearing Masks on Jalan Teluk Gong Raya

He explained that those eight locations were Jalan KH. Mas Mansyur, Kebon Kacang Urban Village (22 violators), Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Kampung Bali Urban Village (6 violators), Jalan Mesjid 1 RW 03, Karet Tengsin Urban Village (7 violators), Jalan Kebon Jati Block G, Kampung Bali Urban Village (18 violators).

Then Jalan Penjernihan II, Benhil Urban Village (14 violators), Jalan Palmerah Barat, Gelora Urban Village (9 violators), Jalan Jati Petamburan RW 03 (14 violators), and Gg. Mess Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Kebon Melati Urban Village (19 violators).

"All violators we punish them sweeping the road," he stated.
